Mechanical Design Engineer

About the role

The Mechanical Design Engineer will develop engineering concepts and complete design solutions for semiconductor manufacturing equipment. You will work on mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic aspects, creating drawings, BOMs, and assembly instructions while supporting new project development.

Key responsibilities

• Provide engineering concepts to meet technical requirements.
• Generate full design packages including mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic drawings, cable diagrams, BOMs, and assembly instructions.
• Prepare drawings, manage BOMs, and oversee assembly operations according to schedule.
• Support sequence and motion‑control development using company‑provided control systems.
• Transfer design data to the PDM system and release details for production.
• Capture project information through photos and video, file them correctly, and maintain capture equipment.
• Travel for project discussions, negotiations, commissioning, data collection, and field performance evaluation.
• Assist operations to ensure smooth shipment of products to customers.
