Mechanical Design Engineer

About the role
The Mechanical Design Engineer will collaborate closely with the Sales team to translate customer requirements into detailed mechanical designs, supporting both local and overseas projects. Based in Woodlands, the role focuses on delivering automation solutions that help secure new orders and ensure smooth project execution.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and deliver mechanical designs using SolidWorks to meet customer specifications.
- Assist the Sales team on‑site by providing technical support during project visits.
- Process project orders for both domestic and international assignments.
- Create accurate Bills of Materials (BOM) and liaise with Production to guarantee design and technical compliance.
- Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to resolve design issues and maintain project timelines.
Required profile
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- 2–3 years of experience in automation design.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Willingness to work five days a week on‑site in Woodlands.
Required skills
- Proficiency in SolidWorks.
