Mechanical Design Engineer

About the role

Arcadis Global Asia is seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join its engineering design team in Singapore. You will work on advanced technology and semiconductor projects, collaborating with engineering managers, architects, and project managers to deliver high‑quality mechanical and process piping designs.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare construction documents for mechanical and process piping systems, including process exhaust, processed chilled water, ultra‑pure water, specialty gases, and drains.
• Perform pipe sizing and flow‑rate calculations for liquids and gases.
• Survey existing conditions, document utility connection points, and develop constructible packages based on client and vendor information.
• Produce detailed engineering drawings using AutoCAD and/or Revit.
• Support construction administration, field work, and coordination with subcontractors and clients.
• Travel to or be stationed at client project sites in the APAC region as required.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience in mechanical design for advanced technology or semiconductor manufacturing facilities.
• Proven ability to work with cross‑functional teams and manage design documentation.
• Willingness to wear personal protective equipment and work on site.
