Mechanical Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join our cross‑functional team developing material‑handling mechanisms for semiconductor and surface‑mount inspection equipment. The role involves concept development, detailed design, prototype assembly and testing, and close collaboration with electrical, software and manufacturing teams.

Key responsibilities

• Conceptualize and design mechanical parts, mechanisms and modules for material‑handling systems.
• Produce detailed 3‑D models and GD&T drawings using PTC Creo.
• Assemble prototypes, perform functional testing and generate project documentation.
• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to refine specifications.
• Evaluate manufacturing methods, select materials and support supplier development.
• Lead design reviews and resolve cross‑functional issues.
• Define and execute test plans for design verification.
• Perform thermal, structural, tolerance and vibration analyses.
• Apply machine‑vision requirements to mechanical designs.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience in mechanism design, custom machine development and fabricated parts.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Proven ability to work in a matrix organization with global engineering collaboration.
• Strong verbal and written communication in English; Mandarin is a plus.
• Positive, team‑oriented attitude and ability to collaborate with electrical, software and manufacturing engineers.
