Mechanical Maintenance Engineer – Senior

About the role

We are seeking a senior Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to lead the upkeep of our precast concrete production lines across Singapore. The role involves planning, supervising, and executing preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure high equipment reliability and production efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement preventive‑maintenance schedules for all mechanical equipment.
• Diagnose breakdowns, identify root causes, and coordinate timely repairs.
• Supervise installation, alignment, dismantling, and commissioning of new machinery.
• Inspect and maintain hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical components such as bearings, gears, pumps, and valves.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, spare‑part inventories, and consumable supplies.
• Collaborate with production and site teams to minimise downtime while ensuring safety compliance.
• Coordinate with external contractors and suppliers for major repairs and technical support.
• Identify improvement opportunities to enhance equipment reliability and reduce maintenance costs.

Required profile

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field from a recognised university.
• Minimum 10 years of mechanical maintenance experience in large‑scale construction or precast concrete projects.
• Proven ability to lead maintenance teams and manage complex equipment portfolios.
