Ultrasound Probe Assembly & Testing Operator

About the role

Join the Singapore manufacturing operations team as a hands‑on production professional responsible for the precision assembly, routine testing and inspection of ultrasound probes and related equipment. You will follow approved work instructions to ensure products delivered across the Asia‑Pacific region meet defined quality, performance and reliability standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform precision assembly of ultrasound probes, including adhesive preparation, transducer cutting, grinding, cable soldering and enclosure encapsulation, strictly following SOPs.
• Operate designated production test equipment and fixtures to conduct visual, functional and basic electrical checks, record results accurately and flag any abnormalities.
• Complete production, inspection and traceability records, maintain a clean work area and adhere to quality controls and site procedures.
• Conduct routine pre‑use checks of tools, jigs and test fixtures, keep workstations orderly and report equipment faults promptly.

Required profile

• NITEC, Higher NITEC or Diploma, or equivalent practical manufacturing experience in electronics, mechatronics or medical device manufacturing.
• Minimum 2 years of assembly, testing, inspection or repair experience with precision medical devices or high‑end electronic products.
• Ability to read and follow SOPs, technical documentation and training materials in both English and Chinese.

Required skills

• Precision assembly techniques (adhesive preparation, transducer cutting, grinding, cable soldering).
• Use of hand tools, digital multimeters and assigned test equipment after training.
• Operation of production test equipment and test fixtures.
