Mechanical/Electrical Technician

About the role
The Mechanical/Electrical Technician will ensure smooth operation of daily food‑process plant equipment, utilities, and related electrical and instrumentation systems. You will support both routine and unplanned maintenance activities while contributing to continuous improvement projects.
Key responsibilities
- Operate and monitor plant equipment, utilities, and electrical/instrumentation assets to maintain optimal performance.
- Execute planned maintenance tasks and respond to breakdowns as directed by the line manager.
- Participate in innovation and renovation (inno‑reno) projects.
- Perform basic metal fabrication and welding tasks, with training provided.
- Lead or support projects aimed at improving plant operations.
- Join the MWG team and actively engage in Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) activities.
Required profile
- Professional Certificate, NITEC, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
