Member of Technical Staff (Data Intelligence)

About the role

As a Member of Technical Staff in Data Intelligence, you will partner with model researchers, data infrastructure engineers, and cross‑functional teams to ensure high‑quality data at petabyte scale, supporting reliable and efficient model training.

Key responsibilities

• Work with model researchers to define “good data” metrics, validation checks, and acceptance thresholds.
• Explore open‑source and internal datasets to build fundamental World Models.
• Build algorithms for automated data‑quality assessment, domain mixing, and domain adaptation from synthetic to real data.
• Track datasets, metadata, provenance, and versions to ensure reproducible experiments.
• Own CI/CD and development tooling for the data stack (GitHub, Python, PyTorch) and automate repetitive workflows.
• Track and optimize throughput, storage, and compute utilization across pipelines.

Required profile

• Strong ML and deep‑learning fundamentals with experience building and operating large‑scale data or compute systems.
• Ability to move between research questions and production engineering, digging into data, running analyses, and shipping reliable systems.
• Demonstrated research experience with data composition, quality, and dataset releases.
• Experience designing and executing unbiased experiments.
• Practical experience with distributed processing/orchestration tools such as Spark, Ray, or Airflow.
• Solid Python skills and familiarity with modern model‑training tooling.
