Member of Technical Staff - Photolithography Process Development (NAND)

About the role

Micron is hiring a Member of Technical Staff (MTS) for its Fab 10N/X site, leading photolithography process development for NAND. This senior technical leader shapes photolithography direction across multiple nodes, influences integration strategy, mentors engineers and drives innovation across development teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead complex photolithography process development programs spanning multiple technology nodes
• Define medium- to long-term photolithography process and equipment technology roadmaps
• De-risk novel lithography concepts and platforms
• Serve as a technical authority across R&D and manufacturing
• Mentor senior engineers and provide technical guidance across projects
• Generate intellectual property through patents and technical publications
• Use AI-assisted tools to improve efficiency, quality and effectiveness, in line with organizational standards and legal requirements

Required profile

• PhD with at least 8 years, or Master's with at least 11 years, or Bachelor's with at least 13 years of relevant experience
• Experience in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Physics or a related field
• Demonstrated experience in semiconductor photolithography process development
• Proven track record of defining and delivering photolithography process and equipment roadmaps
• Technical leadership, strategic thinking and effective mentorship

Required skills

• Deep knowledge of optics, immersion lithography, polarized illumination and low k1 imaging
• Strong understanding of semiconductor process flows and memory architecture
• Lithography simulation tools, material characterization, DOE, SPC and basic statistical data analysis
• Preferred: EUV lithography experience, advanced photolithography equipment and metrology tools, multi-site program leadership
