Merchandiser / Associate Merchandiser

About the role

The Merchandiser supports sourcing initiatives by providing accurate reporting, data analysis, and operational coordination with overseas offices and cross‑functional partners. This hands‑on role requires independent management of recurring tasks, deep analysis beyond simple data consolidation, and clear communication of findings and actions.

Key responsibilities

• Support assigned sourcing initiatives and maintain SOPs, reporting trackers, and process improvements.
• Research products, markets and competitors; assist with category deep‑dive projects.
• Own and maintain reports, trackers, follow‑up logs, ensuring timely closure of actions.
• Consolidate, validate and review information from overseas offices and partners.
• Participate in working sessions, coordinate follow‑ups, and provide status updates to stakeholders.
• Analyze reporting results, identify trends or exceptions, and prepare concise summaries for management review.

Required profile

• Proactive individual comfortable handling large datasets and recurring reports.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to spot exceptions and investigate root causes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across teams, markets and seniority levels.
• Experience in sourcing, merchandising, supply‑chain or related operations is preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, formulas) and other MS Office tools (PowerPoint, Word).
• Ability to work with large datasets, trackers and ensure reporting accuracy.
