Merchandising & Procurement Executive

About the role

World Farm, Singapore’s home‑grown garden centre, is expanding its retail footprint and needs a hands‑on Merchandising & Procurement Executive. You will own the full merchandising and procurement loop for non‑perishable and plant‑adjacent products, ensuring the right stock is in the right place, at the right price, at the right time.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute visual merchandising displays that integrate plant and non‑perishable ranges to boost transaction value.
• Set up promotional displays, POS materials and pricing signage promptly and accurately.
• Maintain correct pricing, minimise out‑of‑stock situations and implement FIFO stock rotation.
• Manage supplier relationships, negotiate terms and margins, and support product range decisions.
• Oversee warehouse inventory, rebalance stock between outlets and monitor cost and turnover.
• Analyse stock and promotion performance, providing structured feedback to management.
• Collaborate with marketing and customer service on online‑to‑offline campaigns.

Required profile

• Prior experience in retail merchandising, sourcing or purchasing, and price‑setting.
• Strong understanding of margins, cost structures and profitability.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with high customer awareness.
• Organised, methodical and able to own outcomes independently or within a team.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Excel.
• Experience with an ERP/SAP system.
