Mobile Engineer (iOS) – Singapore

About the role

We are looking for a Mobile Engineer specialized in iOS to design, develop and optimise high‑performance mobile applications. The role involves working with React Native for cross‑platform features while delivering native iOS modules that meet strict performance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop cross‑platform mobile applications using React Native and build native iOS modules focused on performance improvements such as memory usage, startup time and runtime smoothness.
• Maintain and optimise iOS app features to ensure stability, compatibility and a high‑quality user experience.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mobile development issues including build and packaging, on‑device debugging, compatibility problems and production incidents.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Design, Backend and Web teams throughout the development lifecycle, from feature implementation to integration testing and release delivery.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field (preferred).
• Strong fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, design patterns, networking and operating systems.
• Proven ability to analyse and solve complex technical challenges independently.
• Experience designing technical architecture and leading implementation for at least one complete application, preferably with modular or component‑based approaches.
• Excellent cross‑functional communication and collaboration skills.
• Self‑motivated, proactive and able to identify risks early and drive issues to resolution.

Required skills

• Proficient in Swift and Objective‑C for iOS development.
• Hands‑on experience with React Native, including building native modules.
• Familiarity with Expo, CI/CD pipelines and automated build/release processes.
• Understanding of modular architecture and component‑based development.
