MSB Production Operator

About the role

Micron Technology, Inc., a manufacturer of memory and storage products, is hiring a Production Operator for its MSB facility in Singapore. The operator runs equipment and supports the machines that process materials, working in a 12-hour shift with biweekly day and night rotation.

Key responsibilities

• Operate equipment and carry materials to load and unload machines processing them
• Man multiple machines and cover them during breaks
• Log machine activity accurately and report equipment performance issues to the lead
• Run equipment according to current process specifications and maintain workstations under 6S principles
• Ensure quality of process and product, suggest improvements to quality and safety, and complete certification and recertification
• Take part in on-the-job and other required training
• Give clear handovers, seek clarification when needed, and give feedback to colleagues and leadership
• Report hazards promptly, follow safety protocols and use safe lifting and ergonomic techniques

Required profile

• Preferably GCE N/O level or SPM equivalent with a pass in English
• Able to understand, read and speak basic conversational English
• Able to work 12-hour shifts with biweekly day and night rotation
