NAND CMOS Device Engineer

About the role

Micron is hiring an Engineer, Senior Engineer or Principal Engineer for its NAND CMOS device team at Fab 10N/X. You will join an inclusive team focused on innovation for customers and partners, helping build technologies such as virtual reality and neural networks. The role sits within the NAND-CMOS roadmap and covers device definition, silicon experiments and collaboration with design and manufacturing.

Key responsibilities

• Craft and implement the NAND-CMOS roadmap and align it to product roadmaps
• Guide improvements to the device portfolio in performance and cost-effectiveness
• Define, run and analyse silicon experiments for future device generations
• Work with Design Engineers to set transistor targets, deliver transistor models and optimise critical layout-constrained design rules
• Collaborate with the TCAD simulation group to develop transistor structures that meet targets
• Ensure transistor models accurately anticipate final silicon
• Design electrical test structures for transistors, isolation, design-rule verification and process monitoring
• Drive transistor development to meet reliability standards
• Work with Manufacturing to debug yield and reliability issues
• Mentor less experienced colleagues and foster a collaborative team spirit

• Proficiency in AI tools, including Agent-AI solutions to automate daily workflows
