NAND Product Development Senior Engineer

About the role

Micron's Storage Technology and Products Group (STPG) is looking for a Product Engineer to develop, test and produce high-quality, cost-effective NAND products from early development through high-volume manufacturing. The role sits in the STPG and focuses on NAND memory products.

Key responsibilities

• Define and develop high-quality, cost-efficient NAND backend test strategies for next-generation NAND memory products.
• Work with design, system, yield analysis, manufacturing and quality teams to solve technical problems and drive innovation.
• Own the backend test flow, partnering with TSE to review and sign off test program releases for quality, coverage and on-time execution.
• Enable customer sample delivery and product qualification through effective test coverage and risk mitigation.
• Improve product yield through electrical failure analysis, root-cause identification and test optimization.
• Own backend test yield performance, including monitoring, analysis and continuous improvement, and provide yield modeling for new products to support cost analysis.
• Support test time reduction and cost-reduction initiatives while maintaining or improving customer quality.
• Use in-house engineering equipment for product characterization, yield learning and electrical failure analysis.
• Take part in continuous improvement initiatives and integrate AI-assisted tools into daily work.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering or a related field.
• Experience in semiconductor product engineering, test engineering, yield engineering or electrical failure analysis; NAND experience is a strong plus.
• Solid understanding of manufacturing test flows, yield analysis and test methodologies.
• Ability to work across functions in a fast-paced, schedule-driven manufacturing environment.
