Network Engineer (Cisco / Check Point / Fortinet)

About the role

We are looking for a Network Engineer with strong expertise in Cisco, Check Point and Fortinet technologies to manage and support our enterprise LAN/WAN, data‑center and cloud infrastructure across Azure and AWS. The role involves 24×7 operational support, on‑call rotation and collaboration with vendors to ensure high availability and security.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and support enterprise LAN/WAN, data‑center and cloud (Azure/AWS) environments.
• Provide 24×7 operational support and participate in on‑call rotation.
• Configure and maintain Cisco routers and switches, Fortinet and Check Point firewalls, VPNs and wireless networks.
• Implement and maintain network security policies, patching and vulnerability management.
• Deploy and manage load balancers and hybrid cloud connectivity solutions.
• Troubleshoot network incidents, coordinate with vendors when required.
• Perform infrastructure upgrades, monitoring, performance tuning and capacity planning.
• Maintain network documentation, inventory records and operational procedures.
• Support Disaster Recovery (DR) and Business Continuity Planning (BCP) activities.
• Handle ad‑hoc duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Diploma in Computer Science, IT or a related discipline.
• Hands‑on experience with enterprise network and infrastructure environments.
• Proven experience with Cisco, Fortinet and Check Point technologies.
• Prior exposure to VMware, Windows Server, Azure and AWS is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, BGP, routing & switching, VPN and Wireless LAN.
• Familiarity with monitoring and troubleshooting tools such as SolarWinds, PRTG and Wireshark.
