Network Engineer

About the role

The Network Engineer will ensure that Raffles Medical Group's network infrastructure delivers optimal throughput, maximum uptime, and robust security across both on‑premise and cloud environments. The role combines strategic planning, standards‑based design, and hands‑on operational management to provide cost‑effective, reliable networking solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Define network strategy, design cost‑effective systems, and develop SLAs, OLAs, KPIs and dashboards.
• Oversee day‑to‑day operation, installation, upgrade and maintenance of LAN/WAN, wireless, remote access and IP telephony.
• Manage capacity, performance tuning, scalability and cost optimisation for network services.
• Implement monitoring, observability and automation tools; drive repeatable run‑book processes.
• Lead fault troubleshooting, root‑cause analysis, security incident handling and escalation.
• Develop, test and maintain disaster‑recovery and business‑continuity plans, including regular DR drills.
• Coordinate network security measures, ensuring compliance with policies and regulatory requirements.
• Evaluate new technologies, conduct proof‑of‑concepts and recommend enhancements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in enterprise networking and SDN environments.
• Strong understanding of network security, disaster recovery and business continuity.
• Ability to work with cross‑functional technical teams and align priorities.
