Network Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer on a contract basis to design, deploy, and maintain our LAN, WAN and wireless infrastructure in Singapore. The role involves ensuring high availability, performance and security of the network environment while collaborating with internal teams and external vendors.

Key responsibilities

• Configure and deploy LAN, WAN and wireless networks, including related components.
• Install, maintain and upgrade network hardware and software such as routers, switches, firewalls and load balancers.
• Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues and guarantee reliability.
• Implement and enforce network security policies, including firewalls, VPNs and access controls.
• Apply service packs, patches, hot‑fixes and security configurations.
• Document network infrastructure, configurations and procedures.
• Participate in disaster recovery planning and execution.
• Provide support for network‑related incidents and service requests.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Network Engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing and switching.
• Hands‑on experience with Cisco, Juniper or Arista equipment.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CompTIA Network+, JNCIA) are preferred.
