About the role
We are seeking a skilled Network Security Engineer to design, configure, and maintain our LAN, WAN, and wireless infrastructure. The role involves ensuring network reliability, implementing security policies, and supporting day‑to‑day operations in a fast‑paced environment.
Key responsibilities
- Design, configure, and deploy LAN, WAN, and wireless networks.
- Install and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and related hardware/software.
- Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability.
- Implement and enforce security policies, including firewalls, VPNs, and access controls.
- Perform system upgrades, patches, and security configurations.
- Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to resolve network incidents.
- Document network architecture, configurations, and procedures.
- Participate in disaster recovery planning and execution.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience as a Network Engineer or similar role.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, and switching.
- Hands‑on experience with Cisco, Juniper, or Arista equipment.
- Familiarity with network security tools, firewalls, VPNs, and IDS/IPS.
- Knowledge of cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
- Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+, or JNCIA preferred.
