Neuropsychologist

About the role

Reporting to the Head of the Psychology Department, the Neuropsychologist assists in providing cost-effective neuropsychological assessments that support the diagnosis and rehabilitation of patients at JurongHealth Service. The role also contributes to community health by giving talks and trainings.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct neuropsychological assessments for diagnosis (e.g. intellectual disability, ADHD, dementia) and rehabilitation (e.g. stroke, traumatic brain injury, other neurological conditions) in inpatient and outpatient settings
• Assist in awake craniotomy
• Develop and deliver educational talks and workshops on neuropsychological topics for healthcare providers and the public
• Complete administrative work such as monthly statistics and KPIs on time
• Contribute to clinical research as a member when needed

Required profile

• Master's degree in Clinical Neuropsychology
• Eligible for registration or registered with the Singapore Psychological Society and the Singapore Register of Psychologists
• Comfortable working with the elderly; experience with adolescents, adults or the elderly in a hospital is a plus
• Able to work independently in a complex environment and to work closely with multi-disciplinary teams
• Able to work Saturdays when required
