Nominee Director (Financial Services)

About the role

IQ-EQ, a global investor services group with expertise in private markets, is looking for a Nominee Director for its financial services clients. You will act as the director for assigned client entities in line with engagement requirements, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory rules such as the Singapore Companies Act.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as Nominee Director for assigned client entities in accordance with engagement requirements.
• Fulfill all Nominee Director responsibilities while complying with company policies and regulatory requirements, including the Singapore Companies Act.
• Oversee corporate governance matters and maintain high standards of regulatory and fiduciary compliance.
• Identify and communicate potential business growth opportunities to management while carrying out client engagements.
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Manager to support business and client needs.

Required profile

• Experience in the financial services industry; exposure to regulated financial environments is preferred.
• Strong understanding of organisations operating in investment, portfolio management and asset management.
• Knowledge of industry practices, governance requirements and business structures relevant to financial services firms.
• Prior experience in a similar appointment or corporate governance role is highly advantageous.
• Professionalism, judgment and stakeholder management skills suited to nominee directorship.
