About the role
ECLAT Institute is hiring an O-Level Science tutor in Singapore to teach secondary students Pure and Combined Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology). Both part-time and full-time positions are available.
Key responsibilities
- Teach small groups of secondary students on O-Level Science topics.
- Cover Pure Science (6091/6092/6093) and Combined Science (5086/5087/5088) syllabi as needed.
- Prepare targeted practice aligned to school assessments and the O-Level exam format.
- Give timely feedback and help students bridge the gap between Combined and Pure Science.
Required profile
- Strong O-Level Science knowledge; secondary school teaching experience preferred.
- Comfortable teaching at least two of Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
- Professionalism, punctuality and consistent feedback.
Topics covered include physics (mechanics, electricity, waves, energy), chemistry (atomic structure, bonding, acids and bases, organic chemistry) and biology (cells, human physiology, genetics, ecology).
