Officer, Regulatory Reporting Analyst 2

About the role

Citi Finance manages the firm's financial management and related controls, including the quarterly earnings process and compliance with financial rules and regulations. This Officer, Regulatory Reporting Analyst 2 position is an analyst role within the Controllers Organization, reporting up through the Global Head of Regulatory and Capital Reporting. It supports the preparation, analysis and submission of regulatory reports to local regulators, the U.S. Federal Reserve, the OCC and others, based on U.S. and local regulatory rules. The role has visibility across Finance and non-Finance functions such as Risk, Treasury, Financial Planning & Analysis, Enterprise Technology and Operations.

Key responsibilities

• Support the production, review and timely submission of regulatory filings and reports to Singapore regulators, including reports such as MAS 610.
• Assist in monitoring and managing key metrics of reports to identify challenges and issues.
• Support controls processes to ensure data accuracy.
• Help drive process improvements to improve accuracy, efficiency and transparency of regulatory reporting.
• Work with peers and program leaders on implementing regulatory changes in the reporting framework.
• Partner with the Risk & Controls team to maintain and strengthen the internal control structure.
• Escalate problems or issues related to processes, reports or procedures.

Required profile

• 0-2 years of experience in financial services or an audit firm, in regulatory reporting.
• Bachelor's or university degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of Singapore regulatory reports such as MAS 610.

Required skills

• Strong oral and written communication, able to synthesize complex concepts.
• Technical problem-solving, identifying conflicts and discrepancies and escalating them to seniors.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a complex environment and work well in a team.
