Operations Manager

About the role

The Operations Manager will lead day‑to‑day facilities operations, ensuring service delivery meets contractual requirements, KPIs and operational standards. You will supervise technical staff, coordinate hard and soft services, and maintain building functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and service delivery in line with contracts and KPIs.
• Lead and supervise technical staff, supervisors and service personnel.
• Manage hard and soft services, including electrical, ACMV, plumbing, fire protection, pumps and building management systems.
• Review contractor method statements, risk assessments and work schedules for safety and compliance.
• Plan, monitor and execute preventive and corrective maintenance programmes.
• Liaise with contractors, specialist vendors and licensed professionals for maintenance, inspections and technical works.
• Monitor contractor performance, ensure quality, safety and contractual compliance.
• Coordinate with agency representatives and stakeholders through site meetings and reporting.
• Verify work completion, review claims and invoices, and maintain operational documentation.

Required profile

• Proven experience in facilities or building services management.
• Strong leadership skills to manage technical teams and supervise contractors.
• Knowledge of statutory inspections and safety regulations.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders and produce clear operational reports.
