Operations Technician

About the role

Your role is Operations Technician. You will interact frequently with customers and report directly to the Operations Lead. You will work on near‑shore and offshore sites, sea trials, and travel to remote vessels and platforms as needed.

Key responsibilities

• Operate HAUVs to inspect customers’ underwater infrastructure with advanced robotic intelligence.
• Run the system as a HAUV rather than a traditional ROV.
• Help develop and contribute to autonomous operations concepts.
• Prepare field equipment before and after deployments.
• Assist engineering in troubleshooting on‑site and off‑site issues.
• Support electrical and mechanical integration and assembly of components.
• Conduct rigorous testing for pressure, vibration, EMC‑EMI, thermal, corrosion and other environmental requirements.
• Handle logistics tasks such as updating administrative documents and managing parts delivery.

Required profile

• Active learner with interest in autonomous intelligent machines/robots.
• Practical hands‑on experience.
• Technical certificate of competence (NITEC/Diploma).
• Driver’s license (plus).
• Skipper/Steersman/Helmsman license (plus).
