About the role
We are looking for a part-time lecturer to deliver academic writing and communication skills courses at the Language and Communication Centre. The successful candidate will join a vibrant academic community and support students in developing effective written and oral communication.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver 2-hour tutorial sessions on academic writing and communication.
- Prepare lesson materials and resources for each tutorial.
- Assess student assignments in line with established guidelines.
- Provide consultation hours for students seeking additional support.
- Collaborate with curriculum writers on course design and updates.
- Coordinate with administrative staff on scheduling and other operational matters.
Required profile
- Master’s degree or higher in Linguistics, Education, Literature or a related field.
- 2–3 years of teaching experience at the tertiary level.
