About the role
The School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Nanyang Technological University seeks a part‑time lecturer to deliver the postgraduate course EE6507 – Switch Mode Power Supply. The 13‑week module begins in August 2026 and forms part of the MSc Power Engineering programme.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver lectures covering switch‑mode topologies, soft‑switching, synchronous rectifiers, magnetics, control, modelling and design.
- Develop teaching materials, assignments and examination content.
- Assess student performance and provide feedback.
- Engage with MSc students to support their learning and project work.
Required profile
- Extensive industry experience in power electronics or a PhD in Electrical & Electronic Engineering with a research focus on power engineering.
- Passion for teaching at the postgraduate level.
- Previous teaching experience in a similar subject is preferred.

- Switch mode power supply design.
- Advanced switched‑mode topologies.
