About the role
The School of Social Sciences at NTU is seeking part‑time lecturers to teach Ethics and Civics topics to undergraduate students. This role involves delivering tutorials, assessing student work, and supporting the course coordinator.
Key responsibilities
- Attend online lectures as scheduled.
- Conduct tutorials and assessments for assigned courses.
- Grade assignments, quizzes, tests and exam scripts.
- Respond to student queries in collaboration with the course coordinator.
Required profile
- A degree in social sciences, preferably with a focus on political science or sociology.
- Good knowledge of Singapore’s political and social context is an advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to teach topics such as human rights, meritocracy, political systems, multiculturalism, freedom of speech, and gender diversity at the undergraduate level.
- Availability to tutor/lecture during designated office hours.
