About the role

The School of Art, Design and Media at Nanyang Technological University seeks a part‑time lecturer to deliver an elective course on colonial and post‑colonial art for the Master of Arts in Museum Studies and Curatorial Practices programme, starting August 2025.

Key responsibilities

Teach the elective course “From Colonial to Post‑Colonial Art: A Critical Survey” to MA students.
Prepare and deliver lectures, seminars and assessment materials.
Engage with students to support their learning and research.
Contribute to course development and academic quality assurance.

Required profile

At least a Master’s degree in Art History, Museum Studies, Cultural Studies or a related discipline.
Demonstrated teaching experience at undergraduate and/or master’s level.
Strong knowledge of colonial and post‑colonial art histories.

Required skills

Effective academic presentation and communication.
