About the role
The School of Art, Design and Media at Nanyang Technological University seeks a part‑time lecturer to deliver an elective course on colonial and post‑colonial art for the Master of Arts in Museum Studies and Curatorial Practices programme, starting August 2025.
Key responsibilities
- Teach the elective course “From Colonial to Post‑Colonial Art: A Critical Survey” to MA students.
- Prepare and deliver lectures, seminars and assessment materials.
- Engage with students to support their learning and research.
- Contribute to course development and academic quality assurance.
Required profile
- At least a Master’s degree in Art History, Museum Studies, Cultural Studies or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated teaching experience at undergraduate and/or master’s level.
- Strong knowledge of colonial and post‑colonial art histories.
Required skills
- Effective academic presentation and communication.
