Patient Service Associate Executive

About the role

NUHS is hiring a Patient Service Associate to deliver friendly, efficient customer service and create a warm, welcoming atmosphere for internal and external customers and patients, with the aim of providing excellent patient care and satisfaction. The role is a 2-year contract, subject to extension or permanent conversion based on satisfactory performance, with a 5-day week (Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm or 8:30am to 6pm).

Key responsibilities

• Keep the clinic's operational and procedural areas ready according to service standards.
• Support the patient journey with accurate, timely registration, discharge, appointment bookings, cashiering and other enquiries such as insurance provider information for billing.
• Provide chaperone assistance to doctors and nurses and prepare consultation documents.
• Handle requests, emails and phone enquiries.
• Assist the clinic manager with administrative duties and perform other ad-hoc tasks as assigned.

Required profile

• Preferably GCE 'N' Level and above.
• Comfortable working in a hospital setting and in different clinics when needed; able to work in inpatient wards if required.
• Team player with good communication and interpersonal skills, able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Only Singapore citizens and Singapore permanent residents may apply.

Required skills

• Proficiency in computer skills; handling multiple systems is an advantage.
• Ability to speak a second language is an advantage.
• Prior experience in hospitality or service industries is an advantage.
