Payments Business Analyst

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Payments Business Analyst to join a large‑scale payment transformation programme in the banking sector. You will work closely with business, operations and technology teams to modernise payment systems and deliver strategic solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Gather, analyse and document business and functional requirements for payment transformation initiatives.
• Evaluate current payment processes, identify improvement opportunities and design future‑state workflows.
• Support solution design for payment processing platforms and transaction management systems.
• Prepare business requirements, functional specifications and assist with system integration, user acceptance testing and migration activities.
• Facilitate stakeholder workshops, drive alignment across workstreams and support change‑management efforts.

Required profile

• Experience in banking or financial services, with strong knowledge of payment operations, domestic payments and transaction banking.
• Proven track record in business requirements gathering, process analysis, fit‑gap assessment and stakeholder management.
• Understanding of ISO 20022 standards and payment processing workflows.
