People Analytics & Reporting Intern

About the role

Funding Societies | Modalku, the largest SME digital financing platform in Southeast Asia, is looking for a People Analytics & Reporting Intern to support its People Experience (HR) team. The role builds stronger reporting, data insights and automation across the regional organisation, with a large part of the work being hands-on data cleaning, report maintenance and dashboard updates.

Key responsibilities

• Clean, organise, update and validate HR datasets to ensure reporting accuracy
• Maintain and improve People analytics reports and dashboards for internal stakeholders
• Support the team in building automated reporting processes to reduce manual work
• Assist in preparing people metrics, hiring reports and workforce insights
• Work with large datasets using Excel / Google Sheets
• Identify opportunities to improve data structure, reporting workflows and dashboards
• Support ad-hoc data analysis and reporting projects across the People team
• Document processes to ensure consistent reporting standards

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Data Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, Business Analytics, Economics or a related field
• Strong interest in data, analytics and reporting
• Comfortable working with large datasets and numbers, with strong attention to detail
• Available full-time for preferably 6 months
• Willingness to learn, experiment and work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

Required skills

• Strong proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets (formulas, data organisation, basic analysis)
• Good to have: exposure to HR analytics or data analytics, data visualisation tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker), dashboards or automation tools, and Python, SQL or R
