Pharm Technician (WDA) – Career Conversion Program

About the role

MSD is recruiting a Pharm Technician (WDA) as part of a career conversion program under Workforce Singapore. The role is open to PMETs and mid-careerists with no prior work experience in the biopharma industry, and is available on a two-year contract. It is a fixed-term position with no relocation, visa sponsorship or travel required.

Key responsibilities

• Complete all assigned pharmaceutical operations and ensure accurate documentation on modules.
• Meet the performance metrics of the assigned operations.
• Provide timely and accurate information to visual boards.
• Maintain good facility housekeeping.
• Communicate effectively during shift handover.

Required profile

• Diploma or technical school graduate with a background in operations and maintenance.
• Willingness to work 12-hour rotating shifts (day, evening, night).
• Able to work in a physically active environment, including prolonged standing, walking and occasional manual handling in line with safety standards.
• Comfortable working in a modern paperless digital environment using electronic documentation systems such as digital batch records and ERP/MES platforms, with strict adherence to data integrity.
