Pharmacy Intern - Pre-Registration Pharmacists (Indirect Patient Care)

About the role

Roche is recruiting a Pharmacy Intern to take part in its Pre-Registration Pharmacists training programme (Indirect Patient Care). The intern develops fundamental knowledge in Pharmacovigilance and Safety Risk Management across the product lifecycle, helping ensure safe access to innovative treatments and an optimal benefit-risk balance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop fundamental knowledge in Pharmacovigilance and Safety Risk Management throughout the product lifecycle.
• Apply pre-marketing and post-marketing pharmacovigilance requirements in Asia Pacific.
• Understand EU Good Pharmacovigilance Practice (GVP) and its implementation in global processes.
• Learn how Individual Case Safety Reports (ICSRs) feed into signalling and benefit-risk analysis.
• Understand how the Marketing Authorization Holder (MAH) ensures accountability.
• Accurately assess and independently complete some pharmacovigilance requirements.
• Demonstrate soft skills, project management and presentation skills.

Required profile

• Expected to graduate with a Bachelor of Pharmacy (Hons).
• Based in Singapore for the programme period.
• Meets the eligibility requirements of NUS and the Singapore Pharmacy Council for an Indirect Patient Care rotation.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in an international setting.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English; proficiency in other languages is an advantage.
• Strong co-curricular or portfolio records.
