Pharmacy Retail Associate

About the role

The Pharmacy Retail Associate provides quality customer service and assists the retail supervisor in keeping the retail pharmacy running smoothly. The position is based at National University Polyclinics (NUP) in the West Region, including Yew Tee, which will open in early 2027.

Key responsibilities

• Operational: open the store on time and make sure computer systems are ready; monitor the queue and reduce patient waiting time; prepare the float on time; promote weekly specials and practice plus-selling
• Handle the cash register and cash, keep the shop, storage and shop floor tidy, maintain store security and keep proper records of equipment
• Monitor and replenish stock, keep it in good saleable condition, perform goods receipts, handle inter-branch transfers and error reports, and assist with cycle counts and stock takes
• Administration: keep daily sales records, enter data into the SAP inventory system, file retail documents neatly and help compile monthly reports
• Staff development: coach and orient new staff on retail workflows and pharmacy activities, and help brief promoters
• Other duties assigned by the Reporting Officer and participation in workplace improvement projects

Required profile

• GCE N or O level qualification
• 2 to 3 years of relevant experience
• Service-oriented attitude with good interpersonal skills
• Team player who is self-motivated
