Planning and Control Specialist

About the role

The role focuses on planning and controlling manufacturing low‑complexity lines, ensuring schedules align with business demand, manufacturing capacity and material availability. You will own tool configuration, manage NPMA approvals, and contribute to efficient line design while supporting capacity fulfillment and training allocation.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and control manufacturing low‑complexity line scheduling, balancing business demand with manufacturing and material constraints.
• Own tool configuration and slotting, and manage NPMA (Non‑Pure Manufacturing Activities) approval and allocation.
• Design efficient lines focusing on responsiveness, inventory levels and linear workload.
• Monitor line performance and drive improvements in KPIs such as On‑Time Delivery (OTD), End‑of‑Period (EOP), Cycle Time (CT) and Schedule‑On‑Execution (SOE).
• Support manufacturing capacity fulfillment and allocate training periods.

Required profile

• Demonstrates conceptual knowledge of theories, practices and procedures within the discipline.
• Applies general business knowledge acquired through education or past experience.
• Accountable for technical contribution without supervisory responsibilities.
• Uses existing procedures to solve standard problems and makes judgments based on analysis.
• Works within standardized procedures to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
• Communicates straightforward information, asks questions and checks for understanding.
