Planning Engineer – Civil MRT Projects

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Planning Engineer to join a leading A1 main contractor on major MRT and civil infrastructure projects across Singapore. The role involves developing, maintaining and updating project programmes to ensure timely delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, update and maintain master programmes and detailed construction schedules.
• Monitor construction progress, resources and activities against approved programmes.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly progress, manpower and equipment reports.
• Coordinate planning updates with construction, engineering and contracts teams.
• Identify delays, assess impact and support delay analysis and mitigation.
• Develop recovery programmes and revised construction sequences when required.
• Maintain documentation for delays, claims and project reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Project Management or related field.
• Relevant planning experience on MRT or civil construction projects.
• Strong analytical, coordination and communication skills.
• Experience with progress monitoring, delay analysis and recovery planning is advantageous.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Primavera P6 for project planning and scheduling.
