Portfolio Manager, Private Equity & Venture Capital

About the role

Join AIA Investment Management as a Portfolio Manager focused on Private Equity and Venture Capital. You will lead sourcing, due diligence and investment decisions for the AIA PE/VC program, working closely with fund managers and internal business units.

Key responsibilities

• Source and originate new fund investments for the PE/VC program.
• Conduct in‑depth due diligence on fund and co‑investment opportunities, evaluating strategy, team, track record and valuation.
• Make investment recommendations and allocate capital in line with AIAIM Investment Approval Authorities.
• Manage and monitor assigned portfolio investments, protecting AIA’s interests.
• Represent AIA on advisory committee meetings and build long‑term relationships with fund managers.
• Analyse performance of existing investments and propose actions to preserve or enhance value.

Required profile

• A good degree in finance, investment or a related discipline, or relevant professional qualifications.
• Strong quantitative background and solid understanding of global private‑equity markets.
• Experience in private‑equity or venture‑capital investment processes.
• Ability to assess competitive advantage, risk and value‑add strategies.
