Postdoctoral Research Fellow (AI Accelerators)

About the role

The School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Nanyang Technological University (NTU) is looking for a Postdoctoral Fellow to lead research on neuromorphic circuits and systems. The fellow will work in a laboratory that was a pioneer in neuromorphic computing and has influenced widely used AI products. The project focuses on experimentally designing and building crossbar and other architectures that use post-CMOS devices to accelerate computing, targeting accelerators for problems that digital systems handle poorly, such as AI training and real-time optimization.

Key responsibilities

• Define detailed experimental steps
• Conduct experiments
• Report results in publications
• Give presentations at major conferences

Required profile

• PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or a related field
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role, with hands-on experience building and testing circuits, including experience gained during the PhD
• Familiarity with neuromorphic computing and AI models
• Good written and oral communication skills, with papers published in leading conferences or journals
• Entry-level candidates are welcome to apply
