About the role
The School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Nanyang Technological University (NTU) is recruiting a Postdoctoral Fellow to lead research on AI training algorithms. The fellow will develop AI algorithms, especially for training, aimed at post-digital hardware, focusing on numerical and local learning algorithms beyond backpropagation. The work takes place in a laboratory that was a pioneer in neuromorphic computing.
Key responsibilities
- Define detailed experimental steps
- Conduct experiments
- Report results in publications
- Give presentations at major conferences
Required profile
- PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or a related field
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role, with hands-on experience in AI algorithms, including during the PhD
- Familiarity with neuromorphic computing and AI models
- Good written and oral communication skills, with papers published in leading conferences or journals
