About the role

Stamford American International School, an IB World School in Singapore serving students aged 2 months to 18 years, is looking for an experienced and visionary Principal, Elementary. The role covers students aged 18 months to 11 years and reports directly to the Head of School.

Key responsibilities

• Advancing the school's vision and ethos
• Maintaining high standards in curriculum development, programme assessment, professional development and staff evaluation
• Overseeing budgets
• Fostering effective communication with parents and the wider school community

Required profile

• Master's degree or equivalent in educational leadership / administration (preferred)
• At least 5 years of international teaching and administrative leadership experience
• Knowledge and experience of the Primary Years Programme of the International Baccalaureate
• Extensive background in Pre-N to Grade 5 curriculum, standards, pedagogy and structure
• Instructional leadership, strong organizational and communication skills, and ability to collaborate effectively
• Exemplifies the IB learner profile and resilience to work long hours depending on the demands of the job
