Principal/Senior/Executive Appeals Officer

About the role

The Appeals Officer is responsible for reviewing and responding to appeals arising from offences under the Road Traffic Act, Active Mobility Act and related legislation administered by the Land Transport Authority. The role involves analysing cases, preparing recommendation reports, and handling public enquiries.

Key responsibilities

• Review appeals related to traffic and mobility offences and provide written recommendations.
• Prepare comprehensive analysis reports for each case as required.
• Respond to enquiries from the public, motorists and other agencies.
• Support developmental projects aimed at streamlining processes and improving team efficiency.

Required profile

• Knowledge in any discipline with at least 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in enforcement or customer service.
• Resourceful, self‑motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong judgment, multitasking ability and good analytical, written and communication skills.
• Comfortable interacting with the public and handling difficult customers.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
