Private Bank and Wealth Management Graduate Programme 2027

About the role

Barclays is recruiting for its Private Bank and Wealth Management Graduate Programme 2027 in Singapore. The two-year Explorer programme gives recent graduates hands-on experience in the day-to-day work of the private bank and wealth management division, covering product, strategy/business management and relationship management. Graduates take part in research, client support and the launch of new products, and can earn two professional qualifications: the mandatory IMC in Year One and the optional CFA Level One in Year Two.

Key responsibilities

• Run small research projects and prepare presentations and reports to support strategic decisions
• Work with senior management to turn research findings into action and collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Take part in training and development programmes
• Help identify opportunities, develop business cases and manage the launch of new products and services
• Manage client relationships and provide customer service support, answering questions about products and processing transactions under steadily decreasing supervision
• Develop and implement financial models and strategies used in decision making

Required profile

• Pursuing an undergraduate degree with completion expected between December 2026 and June 2027
• Interest in finance and business, proactive and a good communicator
• GPA of 3.2 or above
• Resourcefulness, teamwork, enthusiasm and an entrepreneurial spirit, shown for example through extracurricular activities
• Legal right to work in Singapore; applicants holding a Barclays-sponsored visa or needing sponsorship must declare it
