Assistant Relationship Manager, Private Bank

About the role

Barclays is hiring an Assistant Relationship Manager for its Private Bank in Singapore. The role supports relationship managers in managing client portfolios and improving the client experience, and is regulated by the Monetary Authority of Singapore.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain client information, manage contracts and agreements, and prepare reports, presentations and other materials.
• Coordinate schedules for relationship managers and clients, process transactions, manage expense reports and handle routine requests.
• Gather market trend, competitor and industry information, analyse client data and prepare portfolio performance reports.
• Handle inbound and outbound communications by phone, email and other channels, and support relationship managers with project planning, tracking and execution.
• Support clients with deposits, withdrawals, transfers, bill payments, mobile app use and account updates, and guide new customers through account opening.
• Resolve customer queries on balances, statements, transactions and fees, and maintain confidentiality of client data.

Required profile

• CACS 1 and 2 certified.
• At least 2 years of direct experience in private banking, most recently in a similar role.
• Legal right to work in Singapore; applicants holding a Barclays-sponsored visa or needing sponsorship must declare it.
