Process Engineer – Semiconductor Manufacturing

About the role

We are looking for a Process Engineer to join our semiconductor production team in Singapore. You will apply engineering principles to develop, optimise and improve manufacturing processes, ensuring high yield and quality while meeting customer requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, optimise and improve semiconductor manufacturing processes.
• Monitor and analyse process performance, yield, quality, cycle time and equipment parameters.
• Identify, troubleshoot and resolve process, equipment and maintenance issues.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis for abnormalities, defects and out‑of‑control conditions and implement corrective actions.
• Create and maintain process specifications, work instructions, SOPs, control plans and procedures.
• Lead or support projects focused on yield enhancement, cost reduction and productivity improvement.
• Assist with process qualification, validation, testing, commissioning and implementation of new equipment or materials.
• Develop operational plans that meet quality, safety, regulatory and organisational objectives.

Required profile

• Degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Mechanical, Chemical, Materials Engineering or related field.
• Relevant experience in semiconductor manufacturing, wafer fabrication or high‑tech production environments.
• Strong knowledge of semiconductor processes, process control and yield improvement.
• Proven ability to perform process troubleshooting, root‑cause analysis and optimisation.
• Experience drafting SOPs, work instructions, process specifications and engineering reports.
• Familiarity with cleanroom environments, equipment installation and process qualification is an advantage.
