Senior Reliability Engineer (Rotating Equipment)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Reliability Engineer to lead the reliability and availability of rotating equipment at our refinery on Jurong Island. You will work closely with operations and maintenance teams to diagnose failures, drive improvements and ensure high plant performance.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate and analyse incidents involving rotating equipment to determine root causes.
• Identify, troubleshoot and recommend improvements for machinery deficiencies.
• Monitor and review the Preventive Maintenance program to maximise plant availability.
• Oversee the Condition Monitoring program, analyse data and propose predictive‑maintenance actions.
• Develop and implement initiatives that enhance equipment reliability and overall plant uptime.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• At least 4 years of experience maintaining plant equipment, especially rotating machinery, preferably in oil, petrochemical or related industries.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on root‑cause analysis and continuous improvement.
