Process Equipment Engineer

About the role

The Process Equipment Engineer will bridge production process knowledge with equipment technology to drive manufacturing excellence. You will support the team by delivering technical training, troubleshooting equipment, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Acquire deep understanding of production processes and integrate this knowledge with equipment technology.
• Provide technical training and knowledge transfer to other Process Engineering team members.
• Act as the technical interface with customers for equipment and process discussions, issue analysis, and solution implementation.
• Apply reliability engineering, preventive and predictive maintenance methodologies.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues, optimise line efficiency and reduce failure rates.
• Document root‑cause analysis, lessons learned and update system documentation (SOPs, Maximo job plans, equipment files).
• Develop and optimise preventive and predictive maintenance plans.
• Prioritise spare‑parts classification and manage critical inventory levels.
• Collaborate with production and quality to meet process requirements and regulatory standards (FDA/EMA/HSA).
• Identify and eliminate audit risks, support internal and external audits, and lead deviation investigations, CAPA, change control, HAZOP, FMEA and CMMS updates.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment technology.
• Experience with reliability engineering and maintenance strategies.
• Ability to conduct technical training and knowledge transfer.
• Proficiency in root‑cause analysis and documentation.
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance and audit readiness.
