Process Technician (Chemical)

About the role

The company is seeking a Process Technician to support chemical production on Jurong Island. You will work on a modern plant, ensuring reliable operations, safety compliance, and quality standards while rotating on a 12‑hour shift schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular plant patrols to maintain high reliability and minimise downtime.
• Maintain optimal operating conditions for the plant at all times.
• Ensure compliance with statutory, corporate safety and HSE requirements.
• Handle sampling and perform in‑process quality control (QC) analysis.
• Prepare master batch sub‑raw materials according to production requirements.
• Assist the Shift Superintendent during plant emergencies.
• Perform basic maintenance on plant equipment when necessary.

Required profile

• Willingness to work 12‑hour rotating shifts on Jurong Island.
• Holding a NITEC or Diploma in Chemical Engineering, Chemical Process Technology or an equivalent qualification.
