Procurement Executive

About the role

The Procurement Executive will support the hospital’s purchasing function by managing end‑to‑end procurement activities, ensuring compliance with policies and delivering value for money. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to translate their needs into effective procurement strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal teams to understand requirements, review specifications and develop procurement approaches.
• Source suppliers, negotiate terms and process purchase orders for approved requisitions.
• Track order delivery, manage invoice processing and close purchase orders.
• Maintain complete documentation and audit trails for all procurement actions.
• Analyse spend data to identify gaps and recommend process improvements.
• Develop tender specifications, evaluation criteria and timelines; prepare tender documents and facilitate briefings, clarifications and evaluations.
• Consolidate proposals, perform price analysis, compliance checks and scoring.
• Prepare award letters and support audit activities.
• Produce reports, address stakeholder feedback and drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Degree holder with at least 3 years of procurement, purchasing or tender‑management experience (or diploma with 5 years).
• Strong understanding of governance, hospital policies and regulatory compliance.
• Detail‑oriented, organized and able to handle multiple projects or vendors simultaneously.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
