Product Design Engineer

About the role

Castomize is seeking a Product Design Engineer to advance its portfolio of 4D‑printed medical casts and other healthcare devices. The role combines innovative design, rapid prototyping, and commercialization within a dynamic, cross‑functional team.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and iterate medical device concepts using Castomize’s unique design methodology and additive manufacturing systems.
• Create detailed 3D models and prototypes with CAD software and 3D printing techniques.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, conduct design reviews, and optimise products for performance and manufacturability.
• Drive products from concept through to production, ensuring alignment with regulatory and clinical requirements.

Required profile

• Strong background in design engineering and product design, preferably in mechanical engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, or a related field.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and pay close attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills for multidisciplinary collaboration.
